Wedding Trend: Champagne Wedding Bubbles
Written on July 12, 2011 by Cody Whitefoord

June is right around the corner and the most popular time of the year for weddings begins. The fresh blooming flowers and trees signify a new beginning, and these colors of the season easily make the perfect back drop to any wedding day.
Many couples may choose to break tradition, while others opt to fill their day with the traditions that have been followed for decades. The first tradition, as symbol of good luck and well wishes to the bride and groom is to toss rice as they depart the place of their wedding ceremony. Originally rice was thrown at the happy couple, and over the years some chose to toss confetti or bird seed. The most popular way to shower the bride and groom with good luck wishes today is with wedding bubbles.
Wedding bubbles can be found in many types of bottles, and can be neatly stacked in baskets for guests before the wedding ceremony. As the bride and groom emerge as husband and wife, it is a pretty sight to see them surrounded in glistening bubbles as their family and friends cheer. The most popular style of wedding favor bubbles this season are the champagne wedding bubbles. They resemble miniature champagne bottles and are the perfect “toast” to the bride and groom.
Traditions from the ceremony to the reception continue. Friends may tie tin cans and ribbons the bumper of the couple’s limousine, or place a “Just Married” sign in the rear window of the car. Whatever tradition is followed it is all in good fun, for good luck, and best wishes to the couple for a long and happy marriage.
