Rory definitely prefers when I wear my hair …
Down!
But there was no WAY I was wearing my hair down on our wedding day!
My hair is super-thin and super-fine—meaning, it would have been super-stringy about 10 minutes into our outdoor summer ceremony. Plus, my wedding day was one of the (very) few times I wore lipstick. (I’m more of a tinted gloss kinda girl!) And I didn’t want a stray strand of hair dragging through my lipstick and painting bright red stripes on my face.
So my hair was up. He conceded that I looked nice—and said my updo made my neck look pretty. Well, okay then.
